Money
The national currency of Ukraine is Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH). Paper banknotes have the following denominations: : UAH 1, 2, 5, 10, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000.
There are also coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5, and 10 hryvnias. You won`t have any problems finding a currency exchange, there are quite a few of them. According to the new law, you will need to show your passport or identity card (for foreigners To exchange a traveler's check, look for large, solid-looking banks. All ATMs, hotels, restaurants and cafes accept Visa and MasterCard, and less often American Express. Supermarkets and most shops also have payment terminals.
You can exchange currencies from foreign currency to hryvnia and vice versa at a bank or at exchange offices in hotels and numerous exchange offices. Foreign guests can also open a foreign currency account and make money transfers.

Roads
Always have your driver's license, insurance, and vehicle registration certificate with you to fully enjoy driving on Ukrainian roads. The official speed limit in cities is 50 km/h, in the countryside – 90km/h, on dual carriageways - 110 km/h, on highways - 130 km/h.

Payment in trolleybuses and municipal buses is made using a special travel card. If you don’t have one, you can pay by scanning QR code located inside the vehicle or pay through banking applications.

Opening hours
Most shops and supermarkets are open from 09:00 AM to 08:00 PM, with no lunch breaks on weekdays and weekends. Restaurants and cafes are usually open from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Courier food delivery is available from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The curfew in Chernivtsi lasts from 12:00 AM to 04:00 AM in the morning.
