Zhovtnevyi Park

Zhovtnevyi Park in Chernivtsi is an ideal place to hide from everyday routine and problems. Here, among shady alleys and mirror lakes, you want to stop, relax a bit and admire the natural beauty. Zhovtnevyi Park in Chernivtsi is the largest city park (70 hectares) and an architectural monument of local significance. It is gradually supplemented with new trees. In 2017, a new oak alley was planted here in honor of the Bukovynians who died in eastern Ukraine during the anti-terrorist operation.

In this natural park there are walking trails, two artificial lakes, sports grounds and fields. In addition to the standard sports grounds in the park, the first Vitaparkour in Ukraine was opened. This is a fitness route made of natural materials. It is a kind of running through obstacle course and simple exercises on wooden simulators. The park also has an amusement park, skate park and mini golf. Good emotions and a positive charge can be obtained by visiting the rope park "Prolaz". A variety of delicacies are sold near the entertainment venues. Lakes, which are the decoration of the park are favorite vacation spots of citizens. On one of them you can admire water lilies. In addition, the opening of the ship's season is held on the cozy waters of the lakes, during which everyone has the opportunity to learn how to control a Viking warship. The OZYORKA FAMILY FEST, the “SVITLO” art picnic, the berry festival and other interesting events are also held in Zhovtnevyi Park in Chernivtsi.
