Every Sunday, in the heart of Chernivtsi, a timeless love story unfolds — tender, silent, and wrapped in the scent of roses. The new street performance "The Rose Legend" is a poetic open-air attraction that brings an old local tale to life.

The theatrical piece — performed without words — tells the story of a young lady, a mayor, and a humble street sweeper secretly in love. Set against the backdrop of the city’s most elegant pedestrian street, it speaks through glances, gestures, and carefully curated music.

Inspired by a well-known local legend and Tetyana Hudyma’s short story "The Street of Roses", the performance reimagines the past through emotion, detail, and atmosphere. It invites both locals and tourists to step into a moving story that reflects the romantic spirit of historical Chernivtsi.

The performances take place every Sunday on Panska Street (Olha Kobylianska St), weather permitting. Start time: around 06:00 PM.
