" Mykolaichuk Open" is an annual festival of audience films in Chernivtsi 

Every year, on June 15, the birthday of the prominent Ukrainian actor and director Ivan Mykolaichuk, a multi-day film festival is held in Chernivtsi

The films of the festival are presented in such programs as the international feature competition and the national competition, which includes Ukrainian short films of various genres: fiction, documentary and experimental. The festival program includes Ukrainian and foreign films.  So, if you are a fan of quality cinema, you have a good reason to come to Chernivtsi in June.

Over the course of several days, fans enjoy movie screenings. The audience can also talk to the filmmakers and actors, take part in discussions, lectures and autograph sessions.

Every year, Mykolaichuk OPEN selects a festival muse. In this way, the organizers encourage the audience to discover and be inspired by the outstanding actresses and actors of Ukrainian cinema.
