On the most fashionable street of Chernivtsi - the former Panska Street -the building of the German People's House attracts the attention of passers-by from afar with its unique and interesting facade. This is one of the few buildings on Panska Street that has not been touched by the hands of rebuilders and due to which it has preserved its original appearance to this day.

Будівлю колишнього Єврейського народного дому (нині Центрального палацу культури) побудовано у стилі модерн з домішками бароко і ренесансу. Фасад вишуканої чотириповерхової будівлі прикрашають чотири атланти, які несуть на собі два верхніх поверхи, прикрашені композицією з чотирьох колон і арки. У цьому образі можна побачити вільно трактоване зображення єврейського священного ковчега. Вгорі ж знаходиться скульптура орла, що символізує австрійський період в історії міста.

Архітектурна спадщина Чернівців – це не лише центр міста, а й цілий квартал приватної забудови заможних мешканців австрійського і румунського періодів, який виник на початку ХХ століття у Чернівцях. Понад сто років тому це був справжній райський куточок і називали його «Кварталом вілл»

Будинки-близнюки – відома архітектурна пам’ятка Чернівців. Дві симетричні споруди створюють враження дзеркального відображення одна одної. Вони зведені у стилі класицизму з вкрапленнями візантійського бароко та ренесансних елементів, що робить їх візуально привабливими та унікальними.

One of the largest Orthodox shrines and the most beautiful religious buildings in Chernivtsi is the Church of St. Paraskeva. Its construction began in 1844. The architectural style of the church is difficult to define. It has features of both classicism and empire. There are also influences of traditional Moldavian architecture. Inside you will find paintings and an iconostasis of the 19th century.

The first brick church is the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The temple was built as a part of the large project "Bukovyna" of the Austrian Empress Maria Theresa. The building was built in the so-called Teresian style with elements of classicism.

The Greek Catholic Church of St. Thaddeus became one of the first brick buildings on Ruska Street. The temple was built in 1820-1821. The church was built in the Empire style.
