Architectural monuments
St. Nicholas Cathedral
35, Ruska Str.
St. Nicholas Cathedral is one of the masterpieces of the city’s architecture, which will be remembered for a long time. After all, looking at the incredible shape of the curved domes of the temple, it seems that the building is about to start moving. It is due to the shape of these "twisted" domes that the St. Nicholas Cathedral was called the "Drunk Church". And indeed, if you look at the curves for a long time, there is an illusion of their movement in the direction of the main bath of the church.
Architectural monuments
Palace
For more than a century, this building has been one of the city's hallmarks, creating its architectural face. The building is made in the Art Nouveau style, which was popular in the architecture of the last century. The Palace in Chernivtsi was built in the last "golden decade" of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and became one of the largest and most refined not only in Western Ukraine, but in the whole empire.
