The 2nd Mykolaichuk OPEN International Festival of Audience Film will be held under the slogan "Stand up for what's right"

This slogan emphasizes gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to which the festival can take place, and emphasizes that over the year we have all become stronger and felt that Ukrainian cinema and culture are more relevant than ever.

Actress Lyudmyla Yefymenko and her outstanding performance in Yuriy Ilyenko's 1984 film The Legend of Princess Olga were chosen as the muse of this year's festival. This film will be shown on the birthday of the legendary Ukrainian actor and director Ivan Mykolaychuk on June 15 in Ukrainian dubbing.

The program of the Chernivtsi Film Festival includes short films of various genres: fiction, documentary and experimental. The audience will be able to see films that have already premiered and won awards at the Berlinale and Oberhausen international film festivals in Germany. Eight films will be screened on the big screen for the first time.
