Vyzhnytsia National Nature Park
The area of Vyzhnytsia Park is 11,238 hectares, which are located on picturesque slopes within the administrative boundaries of Vyzhnytsia district of Chernivtsi region. Currently there are two recreational points with a wide range of recreational infrastructure (gazebos, swings, tables with benches, barbecues, volleyball courts, etc.) - "Big rozchushch" (tract Suhyi, near Berehomet) and "Luzhky" (Luzhky tract, Vyzhenka village). There are also 25 recreational sites of different types (in the tracts of Stebnyk, Sukhyi, Maly Stizhok, Solonets, Luzhky, office area, on the route "Rocker". The "Recreational House" in the Stebnyk tract is available for daily rent.
Vyzhnytsia National Park offers unforgettable, very interesting one- and two-day ecological-tourist routes and ecological trails. They run through the park and surrounding areas. You can choose routes of varying degrees of difficulty and level of difficulty. Among them, the routes "Stone Ring of the Park", "Along the Volotiv Range", "Bozna" are especially popular.
Excursion routes include visits to natural monuments, historical and architectural monuments. Among the many cultural, historical and architectural monuments of the national park are St. Demetrius and St. Nicholas Churches, the church, the former synagogue - one of the Hasidic shrines in Ukraine, the Vyzhnytsia School of Applied Arts (former carving school) in Vyzhnytsia, St. Nicholas and St. Michael's Church, St. George's Church and the bell tower in the village Berehomet, Mykolayiv and Ivaniv churches with bell towers in the village of Vyzhenka.
The territory of the national park and adjacent areas are rich in mineral waters. The tradition of their use goes back thousands of years. The ancient Slavs boiled and sold table salt from the brine of the “Chereshenka” and “Vyzhnytsia” springs.
