The Mufti of Bosnia, the Chief Rabbi of Israel, the Honorary Archbishop of Canterbury, representatives of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Pope Francis, well-known imams, and spiritual leaders of Hinduism and Buddhism. Eleven leaders from various religious denominations arrived in Chernivtsi to demonstrate their friendship and support for Ukraine.
Religious leaders met with residents of Chernivtsi and IDPs at the Olha Kobylianska Chernivtsi Regional Music and Drama Theater.
During the meeting, representatives of spiritual leaders said that they came to Ukraine to be close to Ukrainians, to hear the IDPs, to support our people, to condemn violence, to show strength and brotherhood, to share peace, love, and hope. They said that all spiritual leaders must act, because indifference is the greatest sin.
