Did you know that Bukovyna is home to the largest peony field in Ukraine? This year it was opened to the public for the first time. And all this was done to raise funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

An incredible floral location can be found in the village of Hlyboka. It is not just a field, but also the largest peony collection in Ukraine, gathered in one place - 150 varieties of different shapes, colors, and shades, imported from the Netherlands and China. These are Eaton, Patio, Roca, herbaceous, simple, double and non-double peonies, Japanese, anemone, rose and Chinese peonies.

The decision to open the field to visitors was made to raise funds to help Ukraine's defenders.

The organizers planned to open the field only for the weekend. However, due to the incredible interest and requests from flower lovers, Florium's management extended the visit for two more days. In a few days, more than 5,000 people visited the peony field and the organizers managed to raise about 170,000 hryvnias.

To raise the necessary funds for the powerful vehicles for the defenders, Florium decided to sell fresh peony bouquets directly from the bushes and managed to raise an additional 40,000 hryvnias from this initiative. In total, they plan to purchase two jeeps for the military with the funds collected.

The peony field is a breathtaking spectacle of blooming thousands of bushes in one place. In Hlyboka, the field is in its second year of blooming. Last year, it wasn't as vibrant, but this year the bushes have grown and flourished. With each passing year, this floral oasis in Bukovyna will become even more beautiful and colorful.
