The Josef Leitzner's Footsteps route allows you to see the architectural heritage of Chernivtsi from a slightly different perspective. Josef Leitzner was a prominent architect who created many architectural masterpieces in Chernivtsi. Leitzner devoted 43 years of his life to his favorite work, making plans for buildings and in some cases personally supervising construction. The route includes 9 new locations that are not on the city tour. Tourists will have the opportunity to see the beautiful buildings of the most famous architect of Chernivtsi, in the projects of which he put a piece of his soul:
