The Vernissage Cultural Center has been operating in Chernivtsi since 2005. The art institution regularly organizes exhibitions of professional artists, masters of decorative and applied and folk arts, photographers and architects. The exhibition hall exhibits not only works by Ukrainian artists, but from around the world.

The following exhibitions of all-Ukrainian scale are held annually in the "Vernissage": triennial "From Earth to the Sun", biennial "ART-AKT", triennial "Folkmodern". Traditionally, the center hosts various cultural and artistic events: concerts, performances, installations, theater performances, creative meetings with young and well-known artists of the country, children's programs. Much attention is paid to the organization of activities for children with special needs, for which integrated handicraft classes and painting workshops are held.

The main exhibition hall is located at Ivan Franko Street, 15. And since 2017, the Vernissage has received another exhibition hall - in the former German House on the city's main pedestrian street - Olha Kobylianska Street, 53.
